Husband arrested for repeatedly beat!ng his wife and leaving her with a bleeding eye in latest attack (Video)

 

A man has been arrested for repeatedly assaulting his wife.

34-year-old Timothy Shikaan, who is from Benue State but lives at Temple Clinic Asaba, Delta State, is accused of beating up Mrs Shikaan at their home.

The repeated assault was reported to human rights activist, Harrison Gwamnishu, who is the DG of Behind Bars Human Rights Foundation, and a visit was made to the husband.

At the home, the woman was found with welts on her back and arms and she was bleeding from the eye.

  A Nigerian girl has confessed that her mother reportedly gave her rat poison to put in her father’s food. The young girl who identified her mother as  Chinwendu Ngolo  from Ehime Mbano in Imo state, disclosed that her mother’s plan was to kill her father. She reportedly put the poison in her father’s food, however, she told him about her mother’s plan before serving him the food. When asked why she told her father, the young girl disclosed that she loves him. Upon interrogation, the girl’s mother denied the allegation, claiming that she doesn’t know where her daughter got the poison. In the video shared online by  Facebook  user, Ikwumelezeh Testimony James, the girl was tied up but he didn’t disclose why. He captioned the video, “For those who understand Igbo! The young lady revealed that her boyfriend recently won the sum of ₦2 million from betting. The lady went on to express displeasure as she added that he gave her the sum of N20,000 instead of N1 million.
